Overview:
Performs set up and operation of various machine tools in order to manufacture machine parts. Uses milling, drilling, grinding, and other machines.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for the manufacture of machine parts based on the design and drawings of the Engineering Department. Works closely with Machine Shop Supervisor. Takes more responsibility on project and has higher level experience than Level I Machinist.

Essential Functions:
Must have good interpretive skills. Must be able to stand while working and lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance. Must be able to work independently, as well as in a team environment. Must be able to work accurately and under the constraints of a deadline. Must be accurate in timekeeping.
