When it comes to custom assembly system, Lincolnshire, Ill.-based Central Machines Inc. s offers some of the most innovative automation systems in the industry. The company has specialized in continuous motion, indexing dial, high-speed terminal insertion equipment, cap lining and closing machines since 1995.

Central Machines provides custom turnkey automation systems and stand alone machines, and works with customers from all stages of a project to meet their specifications. Vice President Peter Kendler is proud that his company invests in new software and updates its equipment in a routine basis. Because of continuous improvement, it helps its customers become more efficient.

History

Central Machines was formed in March 1995 by Gerhard Kendler. It started in a 2,500-square-foot industrial condo in Wheeling Ill. In 1997, Central Machines knocked a hole through the wall to the adjacent building, making it a 5,000-square-foot facility. Then in 2001 a 15,000-square-foot free-standing building was purchased. In 2007, another 35,000-square-foot facility was purchased and all operations were moved to this new building.
